On this page, I would like to share with you some of my idea related to future developments I would like to bring to KordsKontrol project in the future
Please kindly note that this do not represent a formal commitment that these updates will indeed be developed and implemented….
The release of those potential updates will depend on the time I can invest on this project in the future, and, for those that require a financial investment, on the success of the project.
- Finish the mini tutorials video series – 9 Episodes are planned
Complexity = easy but long (Approx. 6 hours per episode)
Next episodes planned:
-
- Episode 8: Isorhythm Arpeggios
- Episode 9: Performance page – chords sequencer, Arpeggio pads, Manual scales notes and manual Arpeggio notes
- Episode 10: Settings page
- Create a full walk through video with spoken explanation, creating from scratch a demo song
- Propose a MIDI export feature (chords progression first, then maybe, Arpeggios) If possible, generate drag and drop files for easy import into DAW sequencers Complexity = medium (Approx. 60 hours of work)
- Confirm the compatibility / perform troubleshoot with targeted compatible controllers
Complexity = easy (Approx. 15 hour of work except for Push 2, maybe 30 hours) - Extend compatibility to others controllers
Complexity = medium (Approx. 40 hours per controller) - Propose an automatic pseudo random chords progression generation feature (a little touch of randomness, and some rules to ensure the progressions generated are nice)
Complexity = high (Approx. 60 hours of work) - Resume the work on KordsKontrol remote
Complexity = very high (Approx. 100 hours of work) - Integrate in the Installers the automatic creation of the Virtual MIDI port using commercial solutions from others developers
Complexity = very high (Approx. 60 hours of work + cost of the license)
